ITINERARY
DAY 1 Relax and enjoy drive to Looe, a fishing village in southeast Cornwall and check into the popular Portbyhan Hotel for 3 nights. DBB
DAY 2 – 3 At leisure in Looe with two included excursions

Eden Project & St Austell Visit the Eden Project, a global garden with its huge biomes. Spend the whole day or choose to go
on to St Austell, Cornwall's largest town dating back to the 13th century
Fowey, Polperro & Cornish Coast Start the day at the resort of Fowey, a designated AONB. With a natural harbour, it is a haven for yachtsmen and sailors. The village of Polperro squeezes down the valley to a small harbour where tiny fisherman's cottages and sail lofts hang off the rocks. Wander through the narrow streets and browse the shops full of handicrafts. (The main parking area is approximately 1/2 mile from the harbour – a gentle slope on the way down
With the winter evenings slowly drawing out, what better pick-me-up than a revitalising short break away. Lovely
at any time of year, it may not face the Med, but the coast around Torquay has long been dubbed the English Riviera, famous for palm trees, piers and russet red cliffs. Torquay is the quintessential English seaside resort with a wonderful mild microclimate. See Page 39 for other dates (itinerary varies)

Plymouth Devon's fabulous port city, known for its maritime heritage and historic Barbican district with narrow, cobbled streets. Sutton Harbour is home to the National Marine Aquarium, where sharks and rays glide in a deep tank. (admission not included). The Mayflower Steps are where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the New World in 1620
