ITINERARY
DAY 1 Over the Channel to Calais and onto Koblenz for 3-night stay. DBB
DAY 2 Scenic drive through the Rhine Gorge to quaint St Goar with views of the Loreley Rock and onto pretty Boppard where you join the evening Rhine dinner with 3-course set menu, music and great views of the ‘Rhine in Flames’ firework spectacular at the narrow part of the valley. Late arrival back at the hotel
DAY 3 A leisurely day in Koblenz with its charming old town, cosy wine taverns, narrow alleyways and famous Deutsche Eck where the Rhine and the Moselle meet. Included walking tour with local guide
DAY 4 After an early start, travel back to Calais for the return to England

Shake off the winter blues with this special Turkey & Tinsel break to the annual Winter Carnival in Weston- super-Mare. Stunning illuminated floats with up to 25,000 light bulbs brighten a wintery Friday night. For summer dates see pg 36 (itinerary varies)
