DAY 1 Off to Leicester with an en-route visit to Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre which tells the dramatic story of the Battle of Bosworth where King Richard III lost his life and throne. Onto to the Hilton Hotel Leicester for your 2-night stay DBB
DAY 2 Into the centre of Leicester to the excellent King Richard III Centre. Using great storytelling and 21st century technology, the centre tells the moving story of the king's life and death and reveals how one of the greatest archaeological detective stories ever told ended in a Leicester car park. Enjoy a cup of tea with an exclusive talk. This afternoon take a nostalgic trip on the heritage Great Central Railway (steam or diesel)
DAY 3 After breakfast, enjoy a visit to the University of Leicester’s Botanic Garden with a volunteer guide, before heading homewards
