THE ENCHANTING ISLES OF SCILLY
BOOK NOW
Outstandingly beautiful, uncrowded and unspoilt – The Isles of Scilly lie just 28 miles off the rugged coast of Cornwall but are a world apart in every way. This compact cluster of precious ocean jewels is like nowhere else in England. Everything looks and feels quite different on Scilly – simpler, kinder, more innocent. Life moves at an easier pace – a visit to England's enchanting archipelago guarantees a magical, unforgettable experience. Stay for 4 nights at the welcoming Bell Rock Hotel on St Mary's with an included visit to the world-famous Abbey Gardens on Tresco. Overnight stays in Penzance out and back
NB a good level of fitness is required for this holiday and guests with mobility difficulties may be limited in their enjoyment. All sea journeys are subject to prevailing weather and the itinerary may have to be adapted accordingly
ITINERARY
DAY 1 Head to Cornwall for overnight at 3* Queen’s Hotel in Penzance, right on the promenade. DBB
DAY 2 Morning ferry crossing to St Mary’s to arrive around midday. Your Crusader coach does not travel with you to the Scilly Isles but your driver will accompany you throughout as your tour guide. Hugh Town, St Mary's main town, has a cluster of shops, cafés, galleries, restaurants, pubs and also three lovely beaches.
3-nights DBB in the hotel and BB only on Wednesday for you to dine locally.
An introductory walking tour of Hugh Town with a local guide is included. The hotel is ideally situated in Hugh Town in a level position, midway between Town Beach and Porthcressa Bay to the rear – both beaches are about 100 yards away and the location is very convenient, quiet and central with shops, entertainment and the museum close by
