Snowdon Mountain Railway & Scenic Drive Britain’s only rack and pinion railway travels 4.7 miles to the summit of Snowdon. Scenic drive through the National Park to Betsw-y-Coed with its distinctly Alpine feel
Anglesey & Puffin Island Cruise Cross the Menai Straits to Anglesey and join an 80-minute cruise to Puffin Island, a bird and wildlife sanctuary and home to cormorants, shags and Atlantic grey seals. Puffins may be spotted during breeding season (May & early July but not August)
Portmeirion Village Where the Italian Riviera meets rural Wales, Portmeirion is a riot of colour and architectural styles. Well known as the other-worldly location for the 1960s cult TV series The Prisoner. NB There are some steep hills and uneven paths
