DAY 1 Head to Dover to cross to Calais. Travel through France and Germany for your overnight stop. BB
DAY 2 Through scenic Austrian countryside to Plankenau, an idyllic rural location, for your 6-night stay. DBB

Lake Wolfgang & Schafberg Mountain Railway Through the Salzkammergut to
St Gilgen, home to Mozart’s mother. A 30-minute cruise takes you to charming St Wolfgang to board the steepest cog railway in Austria, the Schafberg Mountain Railway. The railway rises 1190 vertical metres in just 35 minutes for 360 degree panoramic views of sparkling lakes and soaring mountains
Zell am See The pretty town of Zell am See is one of Austria’s most popular resorts. Enjoy free time to stroll through the compact medieval centre with its brightly painted chalets and along the lake shores Berchtesgaden & Eagle's Nest Into Germany today to the small alpine town of Berchtesgaden, best known for the 'Eagle's Nest', perched 1,834m high on the Obersalzburg mountain. The 'Kehlstein' lodge was infamously used by Hitler and is now a mountain top restaurant with views across serene Lake Königssee. Accessible only by special mountain buses and lift (visit and introduction included)
