ITINERARY
DAY 1 Head to Dover to cross to Calais. Travel to your overnight stop in France. BB
DAY 2 Through France and over the border into Spain and Roses for your 6-night stay. DBB DAY 3 – 7 At leisure in Roses with four included excursions and one optional excursion

Roses Express Take a trip on the Roses Express (little road train) for a round trip including the Cap de Creus nature park. Remainder of the day at leisure
Cadaqués by Boat Enjoy a boat trip along the coast to Cadaqués, a favourite spot for artists including Picasso and Salvador Dali. Explore this charming town with a local guide and return to Roses by boat around lunch time
Little Red Train An early start with a local guide to head off into France to the historic Train du Pays Cathere et du Fenouilledes, affectionately known as the 'Red Train'. The panoramic journey starts in charming Rivesaltes from where the TPCF slowly climbs for 60km passed mossy cliffs, deep valleys and noble peaks to the small village of Axat. (NB Carriages may be open top). After time at leisure return to Roses by coach
Núria Valley Rack Railway of the Pyrenees An adventure into the Núria Valley with a local guide for a journey on the Núria Valley Rack Railway, the only way to access this remote valley. Climb over 1000m over 12.5 km to a car-free oasis of calm at the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Núria, a place of pilgrimage and meditation at an altitude
of almost 2000m

Girona Girona is a fabulous mix of museums, galleries and Gothic churches around a tangle of cobbled lanes and medieval walls
