Your tulip time holiday stays at Zoetermeer or Rotterdam Airport, ideally situated near the heart of the bulb growing region and all holidays include a visit to Amsterdam and Volendam.

Itinerary

DAY 1 – Cross the Channel from Dover to Calais and continue to your holiday hotel in Holland. Dinner, bed & breakfast.

DAY 2 – 3 (or DAY 4 for 5 day holidays) At leisure in Zoetermeer with two included excursions. Dinner, bed & breakfast.

INCLUDED EXCURSIONS

• Bulbfields & Keukenhof Gardens
Tour the glorious bulbfields of Holland and enjoy an included visit to Keukenhof Gardens. This is the Dutch Master Growers showpiece and rightly draws visitors from all over the world to marvel at this spectacular sight. During the day, there will be the opportunity for an optional cruise on Lake Kaag.

• Volendam & Amsterdam
Visit the quaint and picturesque old fishing village of Volendam and the former Zuider Zee where many of the local inhabitants still wear the traditional costumes. Visit a local clog maker and a cheese farm and then continue onto Amsterdam, with its compact centre packed with art museums full of masterpieces, historic scenic canals, atmospheric lanes, crooked merchant buildings, house boats, bikes and inviting cafes. You will have the opportunity of an optional guided city tour.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION (5 days only)
Delft & Scheveningen
Drive to the picturesque historic town of Delft, known for its blue ceramics and delicious pancakes. Visit will the world famous Delft Pottery and Showroom before you continue on to Holland's most famous seaside resort, Scheveningen. A much loved North Sea resort, you will find a superb beaches and dunes, a gigantic and very striking pier with is many attractions. Take a stroll along the boulevard and soak up the glorious seaside atmosphere. 

RETURN DAY – Back to Calais for the return Channel crossing and the journey home.
