INCLUDED EXCURSIONS
Sheringham & The Cromer Pier Show
Head to the smart Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham this morning for time at leisure to explore. Sheringham was once an old fishing village and that heritage is still evident today in museums and on murals that decorate the promenade. Sheringham’s Blue Flag beach offers scenic walks along the promenade, which houses a row of colourful beach huts. Re-join the coach to drive along the coast to Cromer, the classic Norfolk seaside resort. Cromer pier is home to a lifeboat station and the Pavilion Theatre. The pier is an enduring example of Victorian architecture, having withstood many storms, tidal surges and even an attempt to blow it up by the Government in WW2 to prevent the pier being used as a landing strip for enemy invaders! You may like to stroll through the cliff-top gardens or enjoy a fresh dish of crab, the local delicacy.

After time for lunch, it's time to take your seats for the matinee performance of the UK's only remaining traditional end of pier variety show - The Cromer Pier Show. You can expect dazzling bespoke costumes, spectacular lighting effects, impressive special effects, laughs by the bucket load, thrilling specialty acts, powerhouse vocals, music and spellbinding dance routines. The show last approx. 2 hours 30 minutes including a 20-minute interval

Hoveton Hall Gardens & Norfolk Broads Boat Trip
Hoveton Hall's beautiful gardens are made up of several areas, each with their own unique characteristics. Enjoy the walled garden known as the 'Spider Garden' due to the 1936 ornamental wrought iron Spider's Web gate; the Old Kitchen Garden, redeveloped to feature lawns and herbaceous borders; the 19th century Glasshouse; the Magnolia Garden & Lake; the Kidney Lake, often used by nesting waterfowl; the Arboretum with more than 200 specimen trees. There is a footpath suitable for wheelchairs around the gardens as well as a tearoom. NB There is no access to the house

Head to nearby Wroxham where there will be time for lunch before taking a relaxing 2 hour cruise on the Norfolk Broads. A full commentary from the skipper will ensure that you don’t miss a thing, explaining the origins of the Broads, identifying points of interest along the way and showing you the abundance of local water birds as they come into view. There is no better way to learn about the Broads whilst taking in the beautiful scenery all around you. There is a licensed bar on board for drinks and light refreshments (contactless payment preferred). NB There are approx. 3 - 4 steps onto the lower deck of the boat (and a flight of stairs up if you want to go onto the top deck). Return to the hotel this afternoon

Day 5 After a leisurely breakfast, travel homewards with a stop en-route returning to your home towns around early evening.
